Some of the needed repairs in the hall are shown here .

Left - peeling wallpaper and plaster in (Grand Army of the Republic) GAR room. A while back there had a been a bad leak in the roof, which has been temporarily patched. A permanent fix of the roof will allow this to now be fixed. Perhaps the hall will get all new wallpaper.

Upper Right - The light fixtures in the auditorium have paper screens. To replace a broken panel requires the setting up of scaffolding in a complex and costly process.

Lower Right - These historic silk flags will require special handling to better preserve them.
