Mission Statement

The Friends of Melrose Memorial Hall (FOMMH) was founded in 2017 with the distinct and singular purpose of raising funds to preserve and restore the iconic 1912 building at the center of Melrose’s cultural and civic life, Memorial Hall.  

FOMMH is a 501 (c) 3 organization with an all-volunteer Board of Directors comprised of Melrose residents, business leaders and active supporters of the Melrose community.  Working closely with the Memorial Hall Board of Trustees and the Executive Director, the FOMMH raises the money to fund the projects prioritized by the Trustees and excluded by the limitations of the City’s budget.
